Our minds are constantly scanning the world and placing the images we see inside our minds. The pictures I take are a reflection of how my mind's eye sees the world. In other words, they are how I scan the world into my mind.

I took this picture in September of 2006 near Seattle while visiting for a wedding. I really like how this flower mimiced the setting sun's color.
The joy that comes from seeing someone happier because of something I have done or said...this is my drug and I'm addicted. Now, if I could just be a better addict. I'm working on it. Be patient with me.
I am the second of 11 children. I spent a large part of my life in the midwest living on a farm, but also spent 6 1/2 years in the Sacramento, California area. My life has always been about variety - a variety of locations, people, sizes, ideas, schools, majors, interests, activities, and challenges. The one constant has always been my family and my religion. Without them, variety would have been too much. With them, variety has been the defining beauty of my life and has helped me become a well-rounded (maybe too rounded) and successful person.
