Bad Breath

Not sure why I named this picture Bad Breath. I guess I just think this bush's contrasting texture to the surroundings is like a burst of bad breath - kind of awakens you and surprises. Man, that is a bad way of putting it, but oh well.

I took this picture in Arches national park. This shrub was growing at the bottom of the bowl below the Delicate Arch. I had climbed down to get a better picture angle for the arch and saw this bush.
